​Did you know that Saccharine  was discovered about   130 years ago? By mistake for some scientist which experienced with coal tar.

 How about  Aspartame? Was discovered  1960s by a chemist who was working on an ulcer drug. 

 Sacralose or Splenda in 1976 by a student on a different project ..

Just think of how all this progress since then ..
