How to make super yummy and super healthy date balls:

Date balls. Round lumps of love, caramel, coconut, and more than anything, sugar. The epitome of an old lady snack and the ultimate example of a treat you would steal out of the flower-printed handbag of that same old lady. It’s utterly delicious and addictive, with good reason too. The chewiness of the dates, crumbliness of the biscuit and caramello-heaven of the sugar all work together creating a symphony of texture, pitching those sweet notes to a transcendental level. Yeah, I like date balls (as if anyone doesn’t?). But let’s face it, it’s rather fattening, there’s a hell of a lot of sugar floating about in that orchestra…
