• 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup of fresh halved cherries
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla
  • 1 stick of butter ( I used 1/2 cup of coconut oil in place of butter)
  • 1 cup milk

In a bowl whisk dry ingredients. In another mixing bowl whisk eggs, sugar, milk and melted butter until smooth. add vanilla. Then slowly incorporate the dry ingredients just until well mixed together. fold in cherries. line a 12 muffin pan and equally divide batter into pan if you have some left over you can fill them up a little more. I did and they came out fine no over spill. bake at 400 until golden brown. Sprinkle with confectioner sugar after muffins have cooled off.
