Here are some options when come to choices of food that promote a healthy lifestyle and healthy eating. 

Breakfast . Choose whole grain cereals , fresh fruit juices , yogurt , boiled eggs

Skip: Fried eggs , bacon, sausage , pancakes , high sugar content

Lunch    Choose fish, salad , wheat pasta,  fruits , soups, fresh vegetables

Skip: Burgers, hotdogs , processed lunch meat , fried foods, high starch content foods

Dinner Choose fish , chicken ,  big salads, whole grain , vegetables , legumes

Skip: Red meat, heavy starches , heavy sauces, sweet dessert

Also replacing high calorie processed drinks and snacks during the day is a good choice . You can always choose water or mineral water,  fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, nuts and seeds  for snacks.
